We Are Seeking Candidates For The Position Of
KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
The Key Account Manager is responsible for handling the most important clients for our company. This person must build and maintain a strong relationship with the client, anticipating the client needs. The Key Account Manager has the duty also to develop new relationships with new potential clients.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining issues, opportunities and solutions for a business;
- Budgeting and forecasting;
- Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers;
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis for existing/potential customers to meet their needs;
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business relationships;
- Be responsible for achieving financial targets by finding new opportunities and growing our business with existing customers;
- Be responsible for developing and driving customer relationships, as well as maintaining high level of customer satisfaction;
- Negotiate pricing with clients, according with the company policies.
- Arrange and drive marketing activities, seminars and other customer focused events in collaboration with the Marketing team;
- Collaborating with the Sales team to maximize profits and strategies;
- Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients.
- Keep up-to-date on current market changes and trend;
- 10+ years of experience in sales management or key account management in pharma companies or Life Sciences branches.
- A good knowledge of English, French and Dutch (both written and oral).
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills. Demonstrating a strong customer orientation, proactivity and attention to details.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office.
- The Miller Heimann certification would be a plus.
- 50%-75% travel; including domestic, international and overnight and/or weekend stays.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and an active Passport or the ability to obtain a Passport.
