General information
  • Duration: First contract is for 3 months with a roller-down extension.
  • No. of working hours: 40 hours per week
  • Location: 2 day(s) per week in office in MECHELEN
  • Contract type: payroll

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of mobile applications and services to identify performance bottlenecks, usability issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing to evaluate functionality, performance, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to ensure alignment on quality standards and requirements.
  • Generate detailed reports and documentation of assessment findings, including bug reports, test results, and recommendations for improvements.
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce and debug issues and provide guidance on resolution.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in mobile technologies and testing methodologies.

Requirements
  • Master of Engineering/Science degree.
  • At least 10 years’ experience as an RF engineer in the mobile telecommunications industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Ericsson RAN products life cycle and software development.
  • In-depth knowledge of 4G & 5G technologies.
  • Proficient with RAN site design solution (Macro and indoor), integration and commissioning.
  • Proficient with RF feature’s introduction, testing and LAB validation.
  • Strong knowledge of RAN functionalities, parameters, and main performance indicators.
  • Strong knowledge of RAN planning tools, network dimensioning and link budget calculations.
  • Excellent RF optimization & E2E troubleshooting skills.
  • Analytical mindset to substantiate the decisions and act conceptually/process oriented.
  • Can think business-oriented (with insights from telecom, engineering) and combine solutions to offer the best in architecture design.
