What is the main purpose of this role?

Responsible of SL growth agenda by developing dedicated accounts on a EMEA level (and support for global accounts). Identification, assessment, pursuit and closure of additional business opportunities within the assigned accounts in addition to effective management of RFQ opportunities. Pro-actively manage the renewal agenda and ensure that customer satisfaction is sustained

What are your day to day responsibilities?

  • Ensure that the sales goals for the relevant major/strategic key accounts are met, taking cross-divisional aspects into account
  • Responsible for developing and leverage constructive relationships within assigned accounts on mid + senior management level
  • Plan, control and strategically further develop acquisition, preparation of proposals, customer support and customer consulting
  • Control internal and external resources (e.g., BPO, TAM, CSS, Operations, Marketing, IT and Finance) to optimally meet the customers’ needs
  • Design pricing and discounting for assigned key accounts and manage/control contractual negotiations with the assigned key accounts with the aim of achieving the best possible conditions for DHL Service Logistics EMEA
  • Use the O2D methodology to drive proposals from the start with the lead towards a successful implementation

What do we need from you?

  • Excellent P&L knowledge
  • Outstanding negotiation & influencing skills
  • Thorough understanding (speaks industry and customer language) of the medical device supply chain & overall industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including good facilitation skills
  • Experience with Interaction and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Experience in organization with complex matrix structure
  • Experience of working in and with multiple geographies and cultures
