IXX Pharma is part of Havea Group, an international player specializing in natural health products. Our mission is to provide our customers with high-quality and innovative solutions. To strengthen our team in Nieuwkerken-Waas, we are looking for a motivated Accountant responsible for the accurate and timely processing of financial administration.

Your Role:

As an Accountant, you will work closely with the Finance Manager and be responsible for managing both general and accounts payable bookkeeping. You will ensure that all processes run smoothly and that reports are available on time.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Managing general accounting: booking bank transactions, payroll entries, depreciations, provisions, accrued expenses, VAT centralization, inventory adjustments, and taxes.
  • Recording incoming supplier invoices in accounting software (Expert M).
  • Monitoring accounts payable and preparing payments to avoid overdue balances.
  • Submitting VAT returns, intra-community declarations, and customer listings.
  • Following up on outstanding receivables, sending reminders, and maintaining phone contact with customers.
  • Preparing financial reports and ensuring their timely availability for month-end closing.
  • Reconciling all accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Assisting with the annual financial audit in collaboration with the Finance Manager.
  • Responding to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting matters.
  • Providing backup support to the Office Manager.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • You hold a degree in accounting or a related field.
  • A few years of experience in a similar role is a plus.
  • You are organized and results-oriented.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting software (experience with Expert M is a bonus).
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
  • You are a team player who enjoys working collaboratively with various departments, including the Finance Manager.
