For this company active in the events sector, we are currently looking for an experienced accountant.

You will join an employer that puts great emphasis on work-life balance, career development and the opportunity to follow regular trainings.

In a team of around 10 people, you will be handling the accounting and tax for all of the company’s sites in Belgium.

This job is based in Ghent. The office is easily accessible by public transport or by car.

Accountant – The Job

Your key responsibilities will include:

The preparation of VAT returns
The creation and sending of sales invoices
Payments to the company’s supplies
Booking purchase, sales invoices & bank statements
The preparation of month-end closings and annual accounts, as well as corporate income tax statements
The assistance in the preparation of corporate income tax statements

Accountant – About You

You have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in accounting
You have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, either in-house or in an accounting firm
You are fluent in Dutch & English,
