For a company located in Berchem we’re looking for a proactive Accountant to join the team. Do you have experience in accounting ? Do you aspire a responsible job within a dynamic and growing organisation? Then keep on reading.

The Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Controlling the expenses in the expense note application;
  • Controlling, recording and depreciating the R&D capitalization;
  • Preparing monthly accruals in assistance of the chief accountant;
  • Preparing payments in Isabel;
  • Assist in customer follow-up and registration of direct debits;
  • Assist in the registration of purchase invoices for both goods and services;
  • Recharging costs to intercompany parties;
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing and reporting;
  • Preparing VAT declarations for all countries on a monthly and quarterly basis;
  • Preparing monthly VAT – turnover reconciliation;
  • You are the backup for the other accountants;
  • Ad hoc analysis.

Profile of ideal Accountant:

  • You have obtained a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy
  • You have 3 years’ experience in accountancy
  • You have good IT skills
  • You are fluent in Dutch & English
  • You are accurate, flexible and stress resistant
  • You are a team player
