Our client, active in the legal sector, is looking for a part-time Assistant Accountant / Billing Clerk.
  • The finance team consists of five colleagues who each have their own responsibilities and who are willing to help out when needed. This harmonious cooperation guarantees the smooth running of the department;
  • You are primarily responsible for processing supplier invoices and expense reports and ensuring that they are paid on time. You consult with your colleagues on all matters related to this;
  • You help the team to prepare the monthly and annual closing. This includes, for example, a reconciliation of our accounts with the various government agencies. In addition, you also perform annual research at the request of our auditors and prepare data for tax returns;
  • You inform our head office every week about the current liquidity, prepare forecasts and keep in touch with the bank;
  • You are responsible for the correct preparation of the lawyers’ invoices.

Your profile

  • You have an accounting background;
  • You have several years of experience in a similar position
  • You have very good English skills, with at least a good understanding of Dutch and French;
  • You are social, proactive, solution oriented and you take things in hand;
  • You are detail-oriented, methodical and discreet;
  • You are familiar with computer systems.
