For a well-known company active in the retail sector in Evere, we are looking for an Accounting Team-Leader. Are you dynamic, motivated and ambitious to develop as an accountant while managing a team? Then this might be your next dream-job!

The Accounting Team-Leader will be responsible for:

  • The accounting (AP/AR/GL) for multiple cost centres;
  • Publishing the financial statements;
  • Coordinating with external audit multiple times a year;
  • Managing a team of multiple AP Accountants;
  • Automating and improvement of existing accounting procedures;
  • Ad hoc finance and accounting tasks.

Profile of ideal Accounting Team-Leader:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics
  • 5-10 years of experience in accounting
  • You are hands on, communicative, analytical and result-oriented
  • You are comfortable in a bilingual environment (French/Dutch) with a good level of English.
  • Experience with SAP or Oracle is a plus
  • Prior experience with IFRS is a plus
