Accenture is opening a new AI lab in Brussels (the EU Futures Lab), in which we will leverage the latest AI technologies to rapidly build prototypes of applications, and then scale and showcase them for clients. Our focus will be on use cases relevant for public services, and will leverage the full power of latest advances in generative AI, geospatial imagery, computer vision, natural language processing, and responsible AI.
We are looking for a few people to join our Applied Intelligence practice in Brussels, and work in this new AI lab.


Your Responsibilities:


You will be part of a team of highly-skilled technical people, who rapidly develop and adapt prototypes of applications to deliver use cases and go to market quickly. You will:
  • Design and build prototypes of AI/ML solutions in our labs;
  • Go from prototype to large-scale deployment of these ML/AI solutions for our clients on projects;
  • Collaborate with our international multi-disciplinary teams (expert & international labs) to bring the best-in-class expertise and delivery capacity to our client projects
  • Use cloud native services from major cloud providers as well as custom implementations
  • Leverage best-of-breed analytics tools such as Palantir, Databricks, ArcGIS, and open source tools to develop unique solutions for our clients
  • Collaborate with innovation partners, academia, NGO’s as relevant for each project
  • Stay up to date on newest trends, techniques, tools and technologies

Your Background:

  • PhD (or equivalent experience) in Applied Engineering, Computer Science or any other quantitative field with a strong focus on ML/AI.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and skills in recent Machine Learning tools and techniques leveraging at least 2 of the following areas: NN, NLP, Deep Learning, Tranformers, Computer Vision, Large Language Models
  • Passion for Innovation, collaboration with eco-system and create value for our clients
  • Ability to explain complex solutions in plain language, to drive discussions with functional or business stakeholders from various backgrounds (technical and less technical).
  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL,
  • Certification or experience in working on cloud-based solutions with one of the key providers is a plus (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • French and/or Dutch on top of English.
