DESCRIPTION

As an Airfreight Forwarder, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless movement of goods by air. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and managing airfreight shipments, from initial booking to final delivery, while ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborating with clients, airlines, and other stakeholders to coordinate transportation logistics and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Preparing and verifying shipping documentation, including airway bills, invoices, customs declarations, and other necessary paperwork.
  • Monitoring shipment progress, tracking and communicating updates to clients, and promptly resolving any issues or delays that may arise.
  • Conducting rate negotiations with airlines and optimizing freight costs to maximize profitability.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all transactions, including shipments, rates, and client information, in accordance with company policies.

PROFILES

  • Previousexperience in airfreight forwarding is a must.
  • Fluency in Englishis a must other languages as French and Dutch are a plus.
