As Application Architect you will be reporting to and working closely with the Infrastructure Architect and the IT Project Manager. In your role, you will be responsible for the design and development of critical and administrative software applications and services. As part of a programme of remediations action plan, the team will design and implement new architecture based on multiple models: on-premises/virtual platform and digital platform to support the demands of a modern service.

Key responsibilities

Being able to demonstrate expertise across architecture domains such as business, applications, information, infrastructure, integration, and security

Ensuring compliance to solution architectural design in the implementation of projects

Providing architectural guidance to the project team

Ensuring that solution architecture, software and programs, designs are in sync with business needs and the software/hardware assets

Solutions Architecture, with the ability to translate user requirements into detailed design artefacts
Requirements
5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Application Developer and Architect

3+ years of hands-on experience developing and architecting cloud native applications and solutions

Must have hands-on working experience with application discovery and rationalization, foundation design and build, application migration, and application modernisation

Experience with design application architectures or optimise existing applications for migration on cloud platform

Must have working experience with serverless computing

Customer-facing engineering leader who can contextualise ambiguous business problems and design and implement elegant solutions

Having a proven ability to engage/influence key stakeholders and articulate value proposition

Having a good command in English
