Application Owner SmartVista / Payments

WHAT’S THE OPPORTUNITY ?

As a rapidly growing fintech company, we are seeking an Application Owner who will be the link between the first line support (Customer Care), the business (Sales teams) and the IT suppliers and other partners involved in the Monizze payments landscape (BPC, terminal vendors, cash system vendors, online PSPs...).

You take ownership of the SmartVista back-end and front-end application, including the communication with terminals. As a subject matter expert, you have, or acquire an in-depth knowledge of the system’s capacity and capabilities.

As SmartVista will soon take a more important role in the organization, this role is crucial for the future of Monizze.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING ?

• Manage day-to-day support issues (problems, change requests) to ensure a fast, efficient and customer-focused service to your end users. You are the point of contact when the first line support team isn’t able to solve problems. This includes analysing the problem, but also doing detailed investigations in log files and in the database and fixing it, by doing (mass) database updates, relaunching processes…
• Manage to give for more complex application problems a direction of solution;
  • o What is the incident?
  • o Can I solve this by myself?
  • o Which party should I refer this incident to?
• Manage the relation with the vendor of the SmartVista solution (BPC). Follow-up of system life-cycle management, installation of patches...
• Manage the relation with terminal vendors, cash system vendors, PSPs and the CTAP certification organization (Acquiris)
• Monitor the SLAs of the SmartVista system, i.e. performance, availability and ease of use
• Think proactively of new features that should and can be implemented in the SmartVista system and more in general in the payments space
• Together with the team, you will validate and test each feature developed by BPC.
• Validate if no regressions occur when a terminal vendor makes changes to its terminal, or you support onboarding of new terminal vendors or PSPs who want to support Monizze as a payment method.
• Become an expert in SmartVista (SVFE & SVBO) in order to do also configurations/parameterizations in this system, thus reducing the dependency of BPC.

Examples are:

o Setup of new reports

o Adapting rules for panachage

o Adding new products, unstructured payment comments…

o Adding new wallets

• 
  You are responsible for release management on the SVFE/SVBO system, i.e. all patches/fixes/new releases delivered by BPC need to pass via you. As such you keep an inventory of which changes were deployed on which environment and when.
  Furthermore you ensure that the test environment remains synchronized with the PROD environment.
• You are the expert when it comes to determining the impact (estimating workload) on Monizze architecture of new payment-related initiatives, like niche payment products, city vouchers/coins, new wallets…

• Make sure the SmartVista system has the highest possible availability and lowest possible operational issues
• Support Monizze’s strategy of becoming the payment platform for niche payment solutions
• Continuously improve the quality of our existing payment processes

A Bachelor or Master Degree in IT

3+years of experience in configuring packages

Team-player and builder

Fluent in Dutch, French and English

Intrinsic drive to roll-up your sleeves and get things done; a self-starter, productive working independently or collaboratively
