An industry leader for process engineering solutions in the industry of food and chemical manufacturing, based in Antwerp, is looking for an Automation Engineer to grow their expertise in the project management team.

As the Automation Engineer, some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Combining the functional analyses of the project with the programming of PLC’s, HMI panels and Scada systems;
  • Providing unique and tailor made solutions based on customer need;
  • Being part of a dedicated team, where you can have the possibility to act as the functional project lead;
  • Working together with the commissioning engineer to test the entire functionality.

As an Automation Engineer you have minimum a bachelor in engineering, specialisation electro-mechanics/automation, coupled with at least 5 years of experience in programming process control systems with Siemens or Rockwell. Knowledge and understanding of electrical drawings will be considered a plus.

Fluency in Dutch and English is a must.

Availability to travel abroad 2 to 3 weeks several times per year.
