The current opportunity is for an experienced Biofuels Blender / Trader to join our trading team, as part of the Front office, in Brussels.

What role would you play within our team.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Bio Traders and Hub Coordinator, in order to develop profitable commercial opportunities out of a significant Fame blending / storage facility.

Based at the ExxonMobil Campus in Brussels, Belgium, this role requires the development of strong relationships, both internally across multiple EU refineries and externally with trading counterparties, brokers and strategic partners. The practitioner should have excellent experience of the EU regional and international market and clearly comprehend the EU Biofuels logistics.

The role requires the ability to create and develop profitable opportunities and to identify and manage the associated trading risks that these opportunities create.

The key deliverables include:

• 
  Optimizing the P&L of Bio Hub blending
• Analyzing and defining the blending plans at M+3 and M+1 horizon, in conjunction with Optimization team, using a multi period optimization tool.
• Hub stewardship: reviewing and validating the commercial margin report and associated P&L.
• Giving guidance to the Bio Hub Coordinator for routine blending execution, indicating correction for recipes.
• Working closely with the rest of the Bio Trading team, to competitively supply our system shorts.
• Supporting hedging strategy with the Bio Hub trader, in order to manage the price exposure and adapt to the market structure.
• Ensuring all activities within the Bio Hub follow the Quality Guidelines and the Control Requirements.
• Conducting all trading activities within appropriate authority limits, risk controls and internal trading guidelines.

Who are we looking for.

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• 
  Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, ideally combined with blending experience.
• Be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of Fame/VegOils products/ streams and blending
• Have experience in managing storage locations.
• Be able to showcase the ability to develop new business relationships and to capture new opportunities.
• Be a self-starting team player with the ability to multitask in a dynamic high-pressure team environment.
