Your mission:

  • Analyze genomics data coming from different technology platforms available at OncoDNA (particularly NGS Ion torrent and Illumina, …) in the field of oncology
  • Evaluate external tools for NGS data analysis
  • Develop automation algorithms for data analysis
  • Develop new analysis methods and/or improve the existing ones
  • Take part in the implementation of a management system for data feeds coming from diverse technologies set up in an international network of hospitals, research centers… and in relation with the different databases and projects run by OncoDNA.

Your profile:

  • Master degree in bioinformatics (or equivalent) and you have a first significant professional experience in bioinformatics
  • Excellent knowledge of public databases (ENSEMBL, NCBI, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of statistics techniques, algorithmic, programming techniques (with a strong preference for Python) and database management
  • Ability to perform a scientific watch in the domain
  • Good knowledge of molecular biology
  • Fluent in English, both orally and in writing
