Business Analyst

We currently have a vacancy for a skilled Business Analyst, fluent in English who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out on site at customer premises in Brussels.The successful candidate will work on Software environments, support the development and implement the business requirements, according to corporate and industry’s best practices.

Your Tasks:

• Business analysis, architecture and design of information systems;
• Review of the business architecture of existing systems;
• Business process modelling & business case analysis;
• Functional analysis of business requirements;
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
• Data analysis and data modelling;
• Assistance with the implementation of the technical architecture;
• Quality assurance, coordination & assistance in the technical documentation, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting of projects.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with 9 years of relevant experience;
• Excellent knowledge of modelling techniques (BPMN, UML and Aris), combined with working experience;
• Excellent mastering of functional and non-functional requirements;
• Extensive experience in data architecture and modelling;
• Experience with the Atlassian suite for Business analysis purposes;
• Good knowledge of Risk management strategies and techniques;
• Good understanding of Web security and GDPR;
• Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, proven by a certificate (PMP, Prince, PM2 or similar);
• Extensive experience with Agile/Scrum and with leading Agile teams;
• Good knowledge of testing methodologies and tools along with writing test strategies, test plans, test cases;
• Good knowledge of relational DBMS (Oracle) and database scripting (PL/SQL);
• Good understanding of Java and JEE concepts;
• Good understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and Enterprise Architecture;
• Excellent command of the English Language; French language will be an asset.
