Job Purpose:


As a member of Tech Data Europe’s headquarters, the Sr. Analyst European Business Performance Management operates across a wide variety of front-office disciplines such as business strategy, sales, product marketing, profit and e-business helping country operations improve their business performance and maximize their profitable growth in order to achieve Corporate goals. He/she participates in the design, preparation and communication of the standard reporting, templates and information that provide detailed insight around main focus areas such as external market environment, financial and operational performance, company health, performance improvement initiatives and long-term strategic plans. He/she provides support during the transformation, standardization and optimization of Tech Data’s frontoffice operations by participating in the design, documentation, best practice sharing and implementation of structured methodologies, tools and processes across Europe. He/she interacts with country management teams and staff members, executing assigned activities to ensure that goals or objectives of business units are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

Responsibilities:

  • Engages with the initiative leads on the program to assure consistency in performance reporting activities and alignment with executive expectations assuring the quality of data reporting prepared by the program team in support of business decisions

  • Maintains contact with all business stakeholders and follows-up on problems expediently

  • Monitors and analyzes customer satisfaction and financial / operational performance of front-office operations in the areas of Sales, Product Marketing, Profit and/or e-Business to identify major deviations against pre-defined KPIs suggesting remediation actions.

  • Collaborates in the definition of functional specs of IT innovations for his/her area(s) of expertise, coordinating with TD IT and in-country business users’ rollout plans. Collaborate with TDIT and in-country business leaders to driving functional & system innovations for sales (SAP CRM, QMT, IPT Telephony etc.) supporting prioritisation and leading the business rollout.

  • Acts as a key role model to the organization demonstrating the highest adherence to the corporation’s key values

  • Oversees the company’s operating policies and practices and ensure these meet and exceed where possible, all corporate requirements;

  • Implementation of appropriate tools and methodologies for tracking performance, including maintaining manuals and securing handover as appropriate

  • Maintenance and control of all implemented processes and tools, with key focus on ensuring up-to date consistency in a changing environment

  • Standardized executive level and detailed reporting and tracking

  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:


The requirements listed below are representative of the expertise, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Over 2 years of functional experience in related front-office discipline

  • University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related scientific disciplines an advantage

  • Willingness to work in a multi-cultural and multi-skilled team

  • Previous experience implementing large projects or effectively partnering with country organizations

  • Strong customer focus and ability to set and manage customer expectations

  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, in English

  • Demonstrate ability to lead and direct peers and to apply skills and techniques to solve problems

  • Self-driven with a high degree of sense of responsibility

  • SAP-knowledge an advantage

  • Able to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment; able to work constructively under stress and pressure to achieve milestones

  • EU-Citizenship or working permit required

  • Able to define and achieve clear individual, team and company priorities

  • Extensive root cause diagnosis and problem solving skills, comfortable translating abstract conceptual information into concrete actionable strategy.

  • Extensive technical skills on data base (modeling & design, e.g. TSQL), query optimization, reporting (Tableau, Qlick), SAP BO/DS/BW

  • Ability to automatize and passion for digitalization

  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external business partners, as well as to stimulate others

  • Positive can do attitude consistently delivering above expectations

  • Strong motivator and ability to work effectively in teams and alone

  • Excellent listener and communicator with strong personal image and poise, recognized for being honest, upfront and direct with all levels of the organization


Working Conditions:

  • Normal, professional office environment

  • Travel outside of home country, as needed
