Department Info

The TIS EMEA Commercial Effectiveness Team supports the business by developing processes and tools, aiming to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales and marketing teams throughout the region. We combine various datasources to deliver relevant insights, allowing the business to better steer their resources.

Job Summary

As a Business Reporting intern you provide support to the Commercial Effectiveness team by opimizing existing and setting up new data visualisations, combining different content sources. You will assist both the Business Reporting specialist and Market Intelligence specialist in various projetcs on data modelling and visualisation.

Job Responsibilities

Working on various projects cfr.optimization of data availability and data visualization
Optimization and customizing existing reports and dashboards
Create new reports and dashboards, combining different data sources such as BI data, CRM data, market data, Competitive intelligence data, supply chain data,… ·
Align with key stakeholders within the business to understand and map the analytics and reporting needs, and translate them into technical requirements ·
Align with IT and BICC department to assure correct dataflows

Profile Description

You are currently involved in studies at a Belgian University or High School that provide you with a relevant background to perform well within the internship context; e.g. Business Management, (Data Driven) Marketing, Marketing Analytics …In addition, you are a passionate future marketeer, who is passionate about linking data to marketing using reporting, dashboarding etc...
You pay attention to details and you’re eager to optimize and improve ways of working
You love to challenge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and tools
You are a strong communicator and fluent in English, other languages are a plus.·
You love teamwork, but also take responsibilities when working independently. ·
You feel comfortable in an environment where prioities can change. ·
In addition, you are able to analyze large amounts of complex information and know how to reduce it to key messages.

Offer

We offer a great place to learn about commercial effectiveness, data and analytics in an exciting sector. You will learn to work with colleagues with various cultural backgrounds. An experienced coach will show you the ins- and outs of commercial effectiveness, data visualization and market intelligence in de medical device sector, and offer you a platform to be creative and have an impact. This offer is only for students in the field of marketing, business, preferably specializing in data and analytics. We can offer a three month unpaid internship or longer.
