• Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret (or equivalent) already in place
• Legal right to live and work in BELGIUM already in place

• Finalise building ITSM Broadcom CMDB based on NCI project deliverables
• Maintain the ITSM Broadcom CMDB
• Contribute to the transition of the legacy CIs into the modern CMDB
• Develop the workflows in ITSM toolset automating the service and change requests
• Perform normalization of data pending the requirement
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the data interfaces between maintained CMDB and other source of data as required
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the NISC Service Tree
• Provide the technical reports (CMDB related performance, incidents, problems) and documentation as required
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards during management of CMDB
• Contribute to the NISC Configuration Management service improvements
• Assist to the Change & Release Management processes with clarification concerning the assets & CIs
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with CMDB management, contributing to the relevant organisation plans & documentation;
• Collaborate with NISC service delivery managers to validate CMDB accuracy, applicability of assets & CIs with relevant relationships;
• Monitor and report on relevant to CMDB performance metrics;
• Collaborate & coordinate with CMDB dependent & interconnected DBs and toolsets
• Deputize for higher grade staff, if required;
• Performs other duties as may be required.

• Proficiency in the management of the databases;

• Good communication skills with demonstrated ability to present information in a clear and logical manner both in writing and by other means;
• Proven ability to act when needed, in accordance within Senior Management directives, and take initiative to deliver even when under pressure with limited instructions and minimal supervision;
• Strong knowledge about the configuration management (ITIL v.3&4) related to the management of modern IT services.
• Familiarity with other processes interacting with configuration management.
• Sound knowledge in the use of automation using Ansible & Python
• Good knowledge of the architecture ITSM systems and relevant dependencies
• Good knowledge about the development of data collaboration interface using API & REST API interfaces
• Sound knowledge in Communication and Information Systems (CIS) within NATO environment.
• Good knowledge about the Broadcom Service Management software
• Sound knowledge about the network management principles.
• Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organisation including NATO Security Policy and supporting directives;
• Proficiency in the management of the large amount of assets & configuration items (> dozens/hundreds thousands)
• Good experience in the use of automation using Ansible & Python
• Sound experience in the use of Microsoft packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), required to provide/deliver a technical reports & documentation
• Experience in building & maintenance of the Service Tree
• Good experience in the development and maintenance of the data collaboration interface using API & REST API interfaces
• Experience working in an environment with a high volume work load
• Proven Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) experience directly supporting senior staff in a sizeable organisation, preferably one in the government defence sector or in an international organisation, a national public administration (civil or military), or the private defence sector;
• Experience of working in an international environment, preferably incorporating both military and civilian elements
