G2 are currently looking for a process engineer to join our client based in Brussels. This is a brownfield project within the chemical sector. The client is particularly interested in candidates with experience covering engineering and design for onshore chemical plant projects.

START: November

DURATION: 6 Month Project + Possibility to Extend

LOCATION: Brussels, Belgium – 2 days every other week on site in Brussels - Rest can be worked Remotely

Process Engineer – Process Design Engineer

  • Process Engineering, Process Design Engineering Background
  • Onshore process plants projects experience, plant optimisation, expansion projects - Chemical plant projects experience is the most beneficial
  • Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or related is desired

- Experience with Aspen EDR and Aspen Plus Software

- Experience with HTRI or Profibus also applicable

- Size main equipment items (heat exchangers – reboilers, condensers, coolers and heaters and distillation columns)

- Ability to do process calculations, process flow calcs, flow analysis

- Write equipment process data sheets

- Verify the suitability of existing equipment for new operating conditions

- participate in PID reviews

- Complete the mass and heat balance

- French and English speaking is very beneficial

- Experience on the client/operator side is most beneficial Typical activities will include:
