Looking for a new challenge? For one of our clients we are looking for a Coach/Mentor to support the Manufacturing & Support Performance Units in specific domains (Maintenance, technical services, QC, Warehouse, …) to improve their efficiency and increase knowledge, competencies and level of autonomy, proactivity, ability to engage through advice, guidance, shopfloor visits & direct interactions with the personnel.

Description

The following key responsibility areas are applicable for this mission:

  • Take part in the safety leadership program and contribute to the change management
  • Facilitating & co-Leading workshops and group discussions with leaders
  • Provide personal experience/benchmarking to support & accelerate the development of competencies & knowledge of identified people on various topics such as shopfloor presence, team management and development, explain the “why” & give feedback, decision making, risk-based approach, Quality Management Systems, cGMPs,…
  • Identify and share good practices for knowledge transfer across M/SPUs.
  • Act as mentor/coach through shopfloor visits (GEMBA) with related teams and people to identify areas of improvement, transfer knowledge and facilitate potential solutions identification.

The objective is to have a sustainable change management approach, focused on Safety mindset and behaviours by applying two leadership approaches: mentoring and coaching style as define below:

Mentoring :

  • Offering Advice, Support and Encouragement
  • Sharing Experience
  • Giving Answers, skills and know-how from their personal experience
  • The mentor’s mindset is all about “I have been here…My advice is…”

Coaching :

  • Eliciting the person’s own solutions and resources
  • Enhancing performance, maximising productivity and potential
  • Forward looking and goal oriented
  • The Coach’s mindset is all about “What would be useful?”

Requirements

The ideal candidate has:

  • PhD or Master in Sciences linked to Biotechnology/Vaccines development (Engineering, Bio- engineering, chemistry, ……) or equivalent by experience.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices GMP (GxP,…) knowledge is a must have
  • Relevant professional experience in Pharmaceuticals or Vaccines Manufacturing Operations related to targeted subjects
  • Shopfloor related experience
  • Strong capabilities to engage and develop teams and individuals
  • Strong experience in Change Management
  • Multiple experiences in several work environments/industries / company cultures is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of the main applicable regulatory requirements related to the targeted domain (US, EU, Japan, Canada, PICS, etc.)
  • Fluent French and English
