About Our Client

For one of our clients, an American manufacturing company active in the healthcare industry, we are looking for a Compliance Manager in order to support their development.Their EMEA headquarters are located in the Zaventem.

Job Description

Compliance Manager - American company - ZaventemAs the Compliance Manager, you report to the Head of Compliance. Your role is to manage the day-to-day financial compliance / Sox activities linked to the Manufacturing and Logistics.Your main tasks consist in :

  • Managing one direct report;
  • Being in charge of the day-to-day Group’s compliance activities :
    • Support to the Manufacturing & Logistic teams
    • Identification of risks and drafting of risk assessment
    • Testing of the different controls
    • Follow-up on the failures that have been detected
    • Follow-up of the remediation plan
    • Communication of the results to the Group in dashboards
    • Acting as the first point of contact for both internal & external audit;
    • Having a close collaboration with the different Production and Warehouses directors across the world;
    • Participating in continuous development projects;
    • Supporting all kinds of questions through various ad hoc analyzes.

    The Successful Applicant

    Compliance Manager - American company - ZaventemThe ideal Compliance Manager will meet the following criteria:

    • Holding a Degree in Management / Finance / Business / Accounting;
    • Having a minimum of 7 years of Finance experience in a manufacturing environment;
    • Having at least 3-4 years of External Audit experience working with international clients (USGAAP / IFRS) combined with ideally 3-4 years of Compliance / Sox / Internal Audit experience;
    • Having been exposed to stock / inventory & production;
    • Being fluent in English. Any additional language is a plus;
    • Having a good command of Excel;
    • Being analytical;
    • Being able to work autonomously as well as in a team;
    • Being dynamic, loving challenges and wanting to evolve in a fast-growing company.
