For our customer, Houben in Hasselt, an established name within the construction sector (class 8), we are looking for a change-minded & critical controller who has a feel for optimizing & professionalizing systems and reporting.

Your challenge

As Controller, you have the opportunity to actively participate in thinking about the financial future of this growing family business. The process of continuous digitization and automation is in your DNA.
Your responsibilities include:

As Controller you are responsible for periodic financial reporting and report directly to the CFO

You actively participate in the periodic closing and ensure a smooth process

You collect and interpret the financial data related to our different sites

You are also responsible for the budget preparation, the budget follow-up and the forecasts

You identify opportunities to make the reporting process more efficient and better

You ensure that the order book is always up to date

You present financial results to the management and the business

Your profile

Which white raven are we looking for?

Master’s degree in a financial or economic field

You can present 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role

A professional background in the construction sector is a plus

You are a team player with real people skills who loves change management

Flexibility, autonomy and transparent communication characterize you

You are used to working with an ERP package and have experience in Power BI
