Job Description

PepsiCo BeLux is looking for an enthusiastic Customer Collaboration Intern to join the team based in Zaventem, starting from the 31st of January until the 5th of August 2022!You will play an important role within to support the customer service the team in running the daily business in order management and fulfillment including working on specific relevant projects.

What will you learn throughout your internship?

Customer Collaboration is part of the Benelux Customer Service and Logistics (CS&L), the linking pin between our customers, sales, logistics and demand and inventory planning teams. You will learn how to support the order management team to execute orders to optimize customer case fill performance and inform stakeholders about any stock risks and opportunities. The never ending journey in finding the balance between shipping on full in time with no waste risk. The order management team encloses all PepsiCo categories (food, beverages, and juices) in retail and away-from-home channels.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage mailbox of incoming orders;
  • Align with team on who does what;
  • Monitor return orders;
  • Close contact with customer collaboration agents in updating customer order performance;
  • Support logistic request during month close;
  • Create sales orders towards customers;
  • Manage orders in a way to avoid obsoletes -Monitoring aging stock and and follow up until final execution (food bank or scrapping);
  • If assigned to Horeca channel monitor empty glass process flow and take action to organize additional pick-ups;
  • Monitor service level to customer, analyze difference and put corrective action plan in place;
  • Run credit block reports;
  • Support automation projects to reduce manual order entry;
  • Participate in the weekly cross functional team meetings;
  • You will be supporting on updating the portfolio progress report and also with ad-hoc requests. You will understand what is waste, which facts can lead to waste and also what needs to be done in order to improve.

By working in close cooperation with the team on operational tasks, you will have the possibility to detect ample room for improvement in our daily operations. Within this internship, you have the opportunity to convert these into real adjustments and make your own contribution to order management and customer collaboration. Example : By analyzing the order patron of the customers you will understand the data, analyze the data, discover trends and share these with demand planning to improve our forecast accuracy.

Who are we looking for?

The customer collaboration intern is a person who on one hand is a critical, precise planner with analytical skills, but on the other hand is a person who knows how to move within the organization to get data and information from multiple stakeholders.

So, if you are someone who:
  • has a Bachelor or Master’s degree or is a recent graduate (preferably in Supply Chain, Communications, Logistics or related fields);
  • takes initiative (hands-on mentality);
  • has a proactive working attitude, can work independently on projects and thereby set priorities;
  • has strong communication skills and is comfortable communicating with people from many different departments (both internal and external);
  • communicates persuasively to win support;
  • is able to transform data and information into meaningful insights;
  • has experience in using Excel, Word, PowerPoint & solid understanding and technical capability to use integrated planning systems, preferred: SAP;
  • is fluent in Dutch and French - English is a plus.
