Job Description


For our Benelux Customer Service team we are hiring a Customer Service Specialist/representative.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage assigned accounts in terms of order processing, order follow up, pricing integrity, on-time deliveries and complete order fulfillment

  • Support all aspects of service to the customer including, but not limited to: price quotes and quote follow-up, technical and product recommendations, sample department coordination

  • Maintain and create customer master files (use of the Accelerator and SFDC)

  • Promote and proactively communicate innovative, new and changing products and services

  • Provide responsive order management support including order entry and expediting

  • Identify and champion customer’s needs and determine appropriate action

  • Investigate, evaluate and resolve customer complaints professionally in alignment with the complaint handling department

  • Initiate and implement initiatives which improve customer service and responsiveness

  • Coordinate with Logistics and Operations on capacity planning and scheduling, proactively communicate supply chain issues and provide alternatives

  • Escalation of structural issues

  • Close collaboration with marketing and sales for assigned customers (implementation of marketing programs, partner with Sales to assist achieving goals, support on customer growth projects)

  • Ensure proactive communication within Customer Service and Sales network by sharing insights gained during allocated customer contacts in regards of service, complaints or other important customer information

  • Back-up team-members when workload makes this necessary and during holiday period

  • Partner with Inside Sales to assist in achieving sales goals.

  • Provides telephone customer service regarding company’s services and/or products.


Qualifications


What we expect from you ! Your Expertise:

  • Fluent in English and French (written & spoken), Dutch a plus

  • Experienced working in a customer-facing role

  • Able to effectively manage many priorities and issues

  • Strong organizational skills, very detailed oriented and good follow-up skills

  • High customer orientation and friendliness

  • Strong communication skills

  • High degree of self-initiative, resilience and assertiveness

  • High IT affinity, experienced working with an Order Management System
