Job description

For our Partner in Beerse, we’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator Customs. In this function you’ll take care of customs processes that apply to import and export of goods to be delivered within EMEA. Next to that you’ll be Maintaining and ensuring the AEO certification, so it can be kept. You are an expert regarding customs and VAT Legislation. The daily tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Coordination and customs technical administrative processing of incoming shipments
  • Organizing and following up on inspections, verifications and audits by FOD Economy
  • Request the necessary CITES and import licenses from the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FASFC) for incoming shipments with animal content and biological agents.
  • Avoid paying import duties, VAT and customs fines by correctly customs clearing with the most favorable customs regimes for incoming goods

    Have you got what it takes?

    We’re looking for someone with the next requirements:
    • Around 5 years of related experience with Customs and Trade Compliance
    • Thorough knowledge of Import/export, customs and VAT regulations
    • knowledge of GMP, GDP and the overal logistics processes
    • Familiar with SAP systems
    • Problem solving attitude and independent
    • Fluent in english, basic knowledge of German and French
