Within this Proximus’ newly created centre of excellence for AI and Cybersecurity, the mission of the Security Management and CSIRT teams is to protect Proximus, its customers, its business, its operations and reputation against external and internal threats. You will be fascinated by a highly dynamic environment, the strong collaboration and some deep technical aspects.The mission of Security Governance & Investigations is to protect Proximus, its customers, its business, its operations and reputation against external and internal threats. We oversee all cyber security matters across the company and its affiliates, with a whole set of activities covering governance, enterprise security architecture, security management and incident response (CSIRT). You will be fascinated by a highly dynamic environment, the cross-departmental collaboration and some deep technical aspects.Within the Security Management team, we are looking for a highly motivated analyst to join and reinforce the team. You will be involved in strategic projects to assure that the implementation is according to security best practices. You will analyse together with the project teams the risks associated to their projects and the best ways to mitigate them in order to be compliant with both regulatory as security requirements.Tasks and responsabilities:
  • To perform a general security risk assessment for new projects or for changes to existing applications, infrastructure components or services.
  • To ensure that the new projects (or changes to existing systems and platforms) are compliant with Proximus security policies and any security standards that Proximus has to comply with.
  • To research and document the security risks raised by the new technologies introduced into the company in the IT, Telecommunications and Internet landscapes.
  • To provide security requirements to be included in Request For Quotation and Request For Proposal’s based on Proximus Security requirements and to evaluate vendor responses.
  • To provide support to the end users, upon request, during the implementation of security requirements.
Profile
  • Bachelor’s in computer system or cyber security or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Very good interpersonal skills, mixing collaboration & communication skills, open minded, constructive assertiveness.
  • Eager to learn. Very curious. Wants to develop himself/herself continuously.
  • Able to work in an environment which is continuously changing using an Agile development style.
  • Have notions in some security domains or products like network protocols, web applications or firewalls is certainly a plus.
  • Have some interests in telecommunication products and services ((like 5G, IOT, …) .
  • Language skills: fluent in English (spoken and written).
