As a Data Engineering Expert with affinity for the Financial Services Industry, you will support our clients and contribute to wide range of projects by :

• Working with business and technology teams to support business development in data quality, data governance & management.
• Support in defining the data strategy and developing a data quality approach (DQ, Data Definition, Data Glossary etc) and lead the implementation.
• You will work with project teams and be responsible for delivering to our clients impactful solutions in the domains of data strategy, governance and management, business intelligence and technology.
• You will contribute to attracting and retaining talent while clearly leading by example. As a collaborative member of a fast-growing and diverse group of skilled people, you will ensure that (together with our HR team) we continue to develop innovative ways to enhance both retention and recruitment of our people.

Let’s Talk About You

In order to be successful in this role, we believe that the below characteristics are important. However, we do not expect candidates to necessarily match all the requirements.

• At least 6 years of relevant experience spanning data governance and management, data implementation;
• Bachelor or Master degree in business, IT or other technical field;
• You have a desire to leverage your existing knowledge in the Insurance and/or Banking sectors, so experience in this region is a plus
• You are a team player with communication skills and realize that excellence should be achieved as a team
• Ability to grow/setup practice for future.
• Experience in designing data and information models from a business as well as IT and data architecture point of view;
• Experience in establishing Data Governance, Management, Quality platforms (e.g. Collibra, Informatica, Datastage) from technology perspective;
• Experience in Data & Model management & Taxonomy (Data Definition, Data Glossary etc.).
• Knowledge of AXON and ETL tools (Informatica BDM, Teradata, IBM Data Stage, Alteryx etc) is a plus.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL, and an interest in NoSQL technologies;
• Familiarity with data profiling, visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with CDC, Object–relational mapping; Data Lake , DWH / Data Marts
• Knowledge of JIRA is a plus.
• You are fluent in English;
• You take responsibility and are pro-active, always being one-step ahead;
• You are a cooperative team player and show enthusiasm for supporting the development of others but you can also easily work independently;
• You have an analytical mindset and are eager to learn;
