Functieomschrijving

Als Data Reporting Analyst neem je deel aan het ontwerp, de voorbereiding en de communicatie van de standaardrapportage, templates en informatie op vlak van bedrijfsstrategie, sales activiteiten, product marketing, profit, e-business,… voor de Benelux organisatie. Je maakt belangrijke aandachtspunten inzichtelijk aan de hand van je analyses zoals de externe markt, de financiële en operationele prestaties, de gezondheid van de onderneming, initiatieven voor prestatieverbetering en strategische plannen op lange termijn.

En Daarnaast

• Bied je ondersteuning bij de transformatie, standaardisatie en optimalisatie van de activiteiten van Tech Data via het ontwerpen, documenteren en uitwisselen van ‘best practices’ en de implementatie van gestructureerde methodologieën, tools en processen in heel Europa
• Je werkt nauw samen met het management en voert toegewezen activiteiten uit om ervoor te zorgen dat de doelen of doelstellingen van de lokale en/of centrale business units worden bereikt.
• Je creëert en onderhoudt dagelijkse zakelijke rapporten (Zoals bv de behaalde service levels in de verschillende interne teams of de omzetprognoses voor de komende periode)
• Je analyseert bedrijfsproblemen en probeert end-to-end oplossingen op te bouwen
• Je ontwikkelt een diepgaand begrip van datastructuren, business use cases, en validatie van datakwaliteit
  

Jij

• Hebt een eerste relevante werkervaring
• je beschikt idealiter over een bachelor of master in financiën, economie, MIS, informaticasystemen,… (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring)
• Spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en Engels;
• Bent analytisch en probleemoplossend ingesteld
• Kan creatief en out-of-the-box denken
• Hebt ervaring met data visualisatie tools (Tableau, PowerBI, ...)
• Voorkennis van SAP, SAP BW, SAP Business Objects is een voordeel
• Basiskennis in SQL en/of VBA is ook een plus

Job Purpose

The data & reporting analyst operates across a wide variety of front-office disciplines such as business strategy, sales, product marketing, profit and e-business helping country operations improve their business performance and maximize their profitable growth in order to achieve Corporate goals. He/she participates in the design, preparation and communication of the standard reporting, templates and information that provide detailed insight around main focus areas such as external market environment, financial and operational performance, company health, performance improvement initiatives and long-term strategic plans. He/she provides support during the transformation, standardization and optimization of Tech Data’s operations by participating in the design, documentation, best practice sharing and implementation of structured methodologies, tools and processes across Europe. He/she interacts with country management teams and staff members, executing assigned activities to ensure that goals or objectives of business units are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain daily business reports
• Analyse business problems to find optimal solutions
• Develop an in-depth understanding of data structures, business use cases, and data quality validation
• Gather and document functional and technical requirements to create end-to-end solutions
• Create direct channels of communication with other departments (both local and central) to get the job done
• Additional duties as assigned
  

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

The requirements listed below are representative of the expertise, skill, and/or ability required.

• 1 to 3 Years of relevant work experience, preferred
• Bachelor or Master’s Degree with Finance, Economics, MIS, Information Systems Field of Study preferred
• Fluency in Dutch and English: good command of oral and written communication skills
• A passion to automate together with internal/external stakeholders to strenghten our digitalization efforts
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Self-driven with a high degree of sense of responsibility
• Creative and out-of-the-box thinking
• Able to work effectively in pressured situations, comfortable in a fast paced environment
• Prior SAP, SAP BW, SAP Business Objects knowledge is an advantage
• Experience in data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, ...)
• Basic knowledge in SQL and/or VBA is preferred
  

Working Conditions

• Normal, professional office environment
• Travel outside of home country, as needed
