Data Strategy Manager

PwC Belgium is looking for a Data Strategy Manager to further enhance our Technology Consulting practice. You will focus on helping clients in their journey to become data driven, going from data strategy, defining the conceptual solution and architecture for data platforms to helping organisations in setting up and rolling out data governance.
What you will do and learn:
  • Partner closely with your clients to truly understand their business realities and requirements.
  • Proactively look for ways to expand our client portfolio by spotting opportunities in the market.
  • Assess current ‘as-is’ situation to reveal gaps in the Data Strategy and Governance of clients.
  • Co-create with clients for defining their way forward in becoming data-driven as an organisation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and expert in setting out a roadmap to achieve the successful implementation of their data strategy.
  • Support in the architecture and design of solutions that support the strategy, for instance data platform solutions.
  • Work in close collaboration with the delivery teams to implement the Data Strategy.
  • Be a mentor to spread the Data culture in the Consulting organization.
  • Further build on the trust based relationship with our client stakeholders.
Who you are
  • You have obtained a Master’s Degree (preferable in computer science, business engineering or similar field).
  • At least 6 years of experience with Data Governance, Data Strategy, and Data Management.
  • Experience with cloud data platform architecture, and data governance software (E.g. Collibra, Informatica, ...) is a plus.
  • Passionate about Data, Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality and Analytics.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to execute operational activities.
  • Change facilitator for Data related topics (for internal and client audience).
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to connect with all levels in an organization.
  • Bilingual in Dutch and French, with a business proficiency in English.
  • Experience with conceptual data modelling is considered a plus
