EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


Essential Qualifications/Experience:

· 10+ years recent practical experience as an Oracle E-Business Suite DBA, demonstrating a 36 months sustained period of performance on recent assignments
· Experience of centrally managing multiple Oracle installations on large systems
· Conversant with:
Ø Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.3
Ø Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.6+
Ø Oracle Database 12cRx (or higher) product versions
· Practical experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Database backup/recovery (RMAN), configuration, sizing, space management, monitoring, patching, upgrades, performance tuning, troubleshooting and administration
· Expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.3 and 12.2.6 (or higher) technical architecture, including knowledge of the underlying database architecture, with particular reference to schemas/products, database objects, file system structure, tables, views, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, sequences, indexes and constraints
· Broad knowledge of and experience with Oracle Application Server (10g) and proven ability in dealings with Forms/Reporting/Apache Web servers and configuring, troubleshooting and tuning
· Broad knowledge of and experience with WebLogic server (10.3.6 & 12c) and proven ability in dealings with Forms/Reporting/Apache Web servers and configuring, troubleshooting and tuning
· Practical experience with advanced topology elements like shared APPL_TOP, Oracle Grid Infrastructure (GI), Rapid Application Cluster (RAC), Automatic Storage Management (ASM), Data Guard and Active Data Guard
· Sound knowledge of and experience with Oracle’s Enterprise Manager 13c or higher
· Sound knowledge of and experience with Oracle’s Application Management Suite for Oracle E-Business Suite
· Basic UNIX/Linux knowledge and good automation (UNIX/Linux scripting) skills
· Sound knowledge of and experience with Oracle Server products on VMWare, Linux and Microsoft systems
· Broad knowledge of and experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Advanced Configurations and Topologies, like DMZ (iSupplier)
· Broad knowledge of and experience with Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture (MMA) configurations
· Expertise in working Oracle implementations on virtual Data Centres
· Broad knowledge of and experience with Mobile Supply Chain Application server (MWA)
· Practical experience with the installation, upgrade and maintenance of Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE, OBIA)
· Practical experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) integration


Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

· Sound knowledge of and experience with Oracle Server products on Hyper-V and Solaris
· Practical experience with the installation, upgrade and maintenance of Oracle Application Express (APEX)


DUTIES/ROLE:

· Install, upgrade, and support (patching, troubleshooting, tuning) Oracle E-Business Suite software and the associated Oracle Technology stack in a multi-tier/multi-node/multi-platform environment, comprise database server, applications server, web server, concurrent processing server, reports server, forms server, admin server, and discoverer server
· Work within the Service Support and Business Applications Service Line, support the Enterprise Business Applications suite of tools
· Report to the SSBA EBA Service Delivery Manager
