Dematic’s Automated Guided Vehicle branch is looking for a… DevOps Engineer Fancy working with the best talent in the European and global automated guided vehicles sector, using the most advanced tech, and being a part of projects for ambitious brands that are eager to push the boundaries of possibility in their supply chain through automation? What’s it all about? AGV Insights cloud analytics are crucial to our software products, allowing us to mass-market serial products in new market areas. They help our customers and service department monitor and diagnose AGV systems, with an emphasis on predictive maintenance. You’ll get to play a vital role in cloud and on-site application development to help monitor our Automated Guided Vehicles. Does this match your skillset? Develop the back-end of the AGV Insights application using Azure technology such as Event Hub, Service Fabric and more. Define and implement the architecture supporting the collection, storage, processing and visualization of AGV data streams. As some application features will have to run without any cloud connection, one of the main challenges will be enabling the transition from an on-site application to a fully cloud-functional application. Work closely with data scientists, product owners and front-end developers, collaborate with agile development teams based in 6 locations around the world, and witness first-hand how your efforts and expertise enhance clients’ technology experience. Tasks and Qualifications:
Does this sound like you?
Along with your Master’s degree in computer science - or similar -, you’ve built up 3 years of experience working on large-scale, mission-critical software projects. During that time, you have mastered Azure Service Fabric, Azure Event Hub, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault and C# - all crucial for the job.
Got any additional experience in AGV or warehouse logistics mechatronics subsystems, and a keen interest in data analytics or NoSQL technologies? Well, those are some great trump cards you’ve got there.
