One of the largest economic consultancies in Europe is looking for an Economic Consultant to join their Competition practice.

Although this role will predominantly focus on Competition, you are encouraged to work across different practice areas.

As an Economic Consultant, you will be responsible for:
Accurately delivering work that has been scoped by others using a range of techniques.
Engaging professionally with clients; actively listening and understanding their perspective and needs.
Identifying how the relevant economic framework, as set out by project managers, will address the case in hand.
Applying relevant core microtheory and empirical techniques across a range of projects.
Delivering high quality technical work by applying best practice.
Identifying key results from analysis (that will prove or disprove key hypotheses).
Adapting written work to the target audience in terms of style and level of information.
Supporting peers in preparing well-structured, clear, client deliverables.

To be successful in this role, you need to:
Have at least a degree with a main focus in economics or another highly analytical/quantitative discipline.
Have min 2 years of prior economic consulting experience.
Have the ability to apply a range of microeconomics tools to policy and business issues.
Be able to communicate complex economic arguments in non-technical language, and to build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Have strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
Have good communication and work management skills
Have an awareness of how to work professionally with clients in a range of situations.
