An internationally known group, specialised in the development of production lines, with an HQ in Antwerp, is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to Project Development Team.
As the Electrical Design Engineer, some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Designing the electrical schematics of the process installations the company creates for a particular project. Your work will be based on process & component data provided by the internal project team. Your responsibilities will be diverse.
- Designing the electrical drawings in EPlan and SEE is one of your main priorities. For this, you will consult with the dedicated project team, the customer and other external partners about the specifications and design.
- Ensuring the purchase of the right electrical components as well as the delivery.
- Reviewing the electrical and instrument panels at our suppliers and our clients.
- During commissioning of the installations you will also be involved.
The ideal profile for the Electrical Design Engineer role holds minimum a bachelor in engineering or you’ve gained the needed skills through experience. A couple of years of experience will be greatly appreciated.
Basic knowledge of design of electrical drawings, legislation concerning electrical installations (AREI & EN), materials used in highly explosive areas, and PLC are a plus.
Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
