• Execute electronics designs over the full development cycle of a CCR regulator or airfield lights:
• Participate to the product technical requirements redaction
• Design of the electronic/electrical elements of the product (including PCB design and layout)
• Execute the verification of the design
• Support the validation
• Support the industrialization of the product in the factory and of the components with the suppliers
• Support the installation in the field when necessary
• Draft the documentation required in the product development process (design calculation notes, verification report, FMEA, test specification, component specification)
• Actively cooperate with the other project team member (software/mechanical/project management/Quality/) to assure n overall good development of the product
• Provide maintenance of existing products during product life cycle
• Provide technical support to other departments
• Prospect new technology & components
• Continuously search for improvement of design & way of working (tool, software, laboratory)
• Take part in external relations with innovative suppliers, subcontractors, universities, external laboratories and other business fields.
• Take part in securing of intellectual work through the generation of invention disclosures and patents.
• Evaluate competitor products, follow up new products in the AGL market
• Build up knowledge of specific airfield standards (FAA, ICAO, ) & participate in activities to improve these business standards
  

• Master’s degree Electro-mechanical Engineer (or equivalent by experience)
• Great English proficiency is a must. Any additional language, mainly Dutch and French, is an asset.
• Knowledge in design & development of general electronic circuits digital & analogue (including EMC)
• Knowledge in Power electronic design (components, standard topology, led driving circuit, thermal)
• Experience in working in electrical laboratory environment (safety, electronics test tools)
• Capability to work with and to drive external suppliers.
  

• Experience in working in complex and highly regulated electrical product developments with multidisciplinary and global team
• Knowledge of standards for electronic products (CE/EMC/IEC)
• Different PCB design & related SW packages (Altium)
• Different electronic/electrical simulation tools (Lt-spice, Simulink)
• Knowledge of airfield lightning market/regulation is an asset but not required
