What we expect.

As a Project Director, you will manage large customer’s Odoo implementation projects. You’ll be dealing with Medium Market and Corporate companies (+100 employees) across Europe in any industry.

You’ll be in direct contact with the clients to help them with the good use of Odoo Software (eCommerce, Manufacturing, Inventory, Project, Website...), helped by your team of Business Analysts.

Therefore, you will perform the necessary monitoring and follow up in order to get the project live on time and on budget.

You will have to represent Odoo during Steering Committee or Project Committee.

Responsibilities

You’ll start your Odoo journey in the Quick Start Team for several months by working on various SME’s projects at the same time. Once you’ll master the product and our methodology, you’ll progressively switch as a Project Director and work closely with Business Analysts in order to design and implement specific solutions for our bigger customers. As a Project Director you may be involved in several implementations with a team of Business Analysts that you will have to coordinate.

Project Management (80%)

  • Analyse the customer needs and suggest solutions through ROI analysis before and during the implementation project
  • Design the implementation plan
  • Organize, coach and guide your team of Business Analysts through the implementation of the agreed solutions (configuration & development)
  • Supervise your Business Analysts team in order to make the customer/partner an Odoo Champion (training)
  • Follow the project and communicate about its status and the ongoing tasks
  • Organise and follow up Odoo implementations
  • Gain the trust of your customers

Internal improvement (20%)

  • Feedback to the Product Owners
  • Coaching & Training
  • Feedback for department improvement

MUST HAVE

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Project Management: As already experienced in this domain, you have been actively involved in scope definition, planning definition, budget monitoring and you are familiar with Agile methodologies and IT Project lifecycle.
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in another European Language (French, Dutch, German, Spanish)
  • Strong Business knowledge & Analytical skills

  • Affinity with the IT world
  • Valid work permit for Belgium
