Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst acts as a key partner within the FP&A organization and across all functions within the EMEA-India region by providing forward-looking decision support and conducting and effectively presenting insightful planning and analysis. The Financial Analyst is contributing to the following critical processes:

• Continuously enhance knowledge of Victaulic’s industry, customers & products
  • Gain an understanding of the business (industry, customers, products) through constant interaction with business leaders – sales leaders, operations leaders
  • Be known as a subject matter expert in each of these categories

• 
  Deliverables:
  • Monthly Results Analysis
    • Report and consolidate results for various entities with accounting teams located in Belgium, Poland and India
    • Review results, communicate variances
    • Analyze KPIs – support Regional management with data driven analysis
    • Provide monthly reports and present to CFO EMEA-I, Regional executive and management team
    • Prepare analysis for communication to Global Manager FP&A
    • Drive new topics for presentation
  • Annual Budget / Long Range Plan
    • Partner with regional business leaders to analyze business trends and needs for the Long-Range Plan
    • Lead development of the annual budget – balance sheet, cash flow and income statement.
    • Prepare and deliver executive presentations
    • Continually improve forecasting process

• 
  Special Projects – At the direction of CFO EMEA-I, Regional Management, FP&A Manager or Global FP&A Manager assist with Business Cases (NPD, etc), Process Optimization, M&A support, Capacity Planning, etc
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis as requested by management
  • Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives and decision making

  Capital Planning / Spend Analysis
  • Review/Update long range capital plan as part of Long-Range Plan
  • Review/Update budgeted capital

• 
  Regional Finance Champion – Business Intelligence Tools
  • Implement and continuously improve the process of leveraging BI tools to provide reporting and analyses to management.

• 
  Standard costing
  • Responsible for standard costing in collaboration with remote team located in Poland.

• 
  A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 3 to 5 years of related business experience.

• A polished professional with outstanding presentation skills who pursues knowledge of the business and industry to produce insightful analysis to support the decision-making process
• A strategic thinker with a sense of urgency, a commitment to quality and the ability to independently prioritize the most impactful tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Expert knowledge of excel / CPM (Onestream, HFM) / BI (Qlik / Tableau / Power BI) - (sophisticated modeling, manipulating and analyzing large data sets, etc.)
• A solid understanding of database structure (CRM, data warehouse, ERP, etc.) and experience with a variety of financial systems

• Help to improve the financial acumen of your business partners and their teams

• Manufacturing experience a plus
• Experience within a Distribution based selling model a plus
