About Our Client

Our client is a well-established Financial Institution.

Job Description

  • Develop, implement and maintain AML and MiFID compliance policies and procedures
  • Monitor regulatory changes and new industry developments to assess and communicate potential impacts to the organization
  • Provide compliance guidance to the business and other stakeholders on AML and MiFID-related matters
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and testing to identify potential areas of non-compliance and implement appropriate remediation actions
  • Ensure appropriate training is provided to employees on AML and MiFID compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with the legal and risk departments to manage regulatory inquiries and examinations as they arise
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports related to AML and MiFID compliance activities

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, law, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial services compliance, with a focus on AML and MiFID
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and industry standards related to AML and MiFID compliance
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective compliance programs and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Relevant professional certifications preferred
