Job Description:

We are seeking a freelance DevOps Engineer to join our team in Antwerp, Belgium. The ideal candidate should be an expert in Kubernetes, Python, and Ansible, with a strong background in managing on-premises environments. This opportunity requires an on-site presence for at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters for our applications and services
  • Automate tasks and workflows using Python and Ansible
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of on-premises systems
  • Collaborate with development teams to continuously integrate infrastructure changes
  • Monitor systems, identify issues, and implement troubleshooting solutions

Requirements:

  • Professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Expertise in Kubernetes administration, including cluster creation, pod management, and debugging
  • Proficiency in Python and Ansible for task automation
  • Knowledge of on-premises environments and security best practices
  • Ability to work on-site in Antwerp for at least 3 days per week
  • Strong communication skills in English (mandatory) and Dutch (a plus)
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively
