My clients are a unique and rapidly growing digital agency based in Hasselt, Belgium. They specialize in providing modern web development and digital marketing solutions to a diverse range of clients. Their team is passionate about innovation, creativity, and delivering exceptional results to high-end clients.

Together we are seeking a talented Frontend Developer with expertise in JavaScript to join the team in Hasselt.

In this role, you will collaborate with an expert team of developers and designers to create engaging and user-friendly web applications and websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in JavaScript, with nice-to-have skills in React, UX/UI design, Angular, and PHP.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain frontend components for web applications and websites using JavaScript, React, Angular, and PHP.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in frontend development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on frontend development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as React and Angular.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with PHP is a plus.
  • Dutch language proficiency is required.
