Job Purpose and Impact

The Food Safety Quality and Regulatory Process Solution and Analytics Specialist will design and develop dashboards and solutions to standardize tools, key performance indicator reporting, data trends and reports across food safety quality and regulatory for the EMEA region. In this role, you will support process standardization activities through development of self-service analytics tools and other digital resources. You will demonstrate familiarity with data management and data visualization to support decision making and partner with internal stakeholders to drive efficiencies through standardization and innovation.

Key Accountabilities
  • Analyze data to provide insights and suggestions on improvements and standardization and respond to complex data requests
  • Perform data validation, verification and discrepancy tracking and develop dashboards to measure process quality, identify trends or anomalies to ensure all processes run smoothly.
  • Drive reporting through the use of available technologies and develop technical solutions for an effective and efficient data analytics platform.
  • Assist project managers with organizing and coordinating project activities for continuous improvement initiatives to ensure standardization in reporting and management tools including support the shared services to develop tools driving effective communication across FSQR functions and providing solutions to enhance compliance and to simplify processes through automatization.
  • Become the subject matter expert in self-service analytics tools (like Power BI, Power Apps,…) and maintain, sustain and optimise existing (self-service) analytics tools.
  • Support business tags to provide timely and accurate data models that align key performance indicators and analysis of functional performance to enable comparisons of data between businesses to drive management decisions.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in project management or continuous improvement.
  • Experience in technology implementations including self-service analytics
  • Experience in other food safety & quality roles is an advantage but no requirement
