Job description:
The analyst carries out the functional and technical design of an IT solution based on the analysis of clients’ needs, which he/she collects through interviews and data analysis, based on the institution’s environment, based on the institution’s standards and other recommendations. He/she ensures the conformity of the development with the described needs. He/she acts as an interface between the client and the developers.

1. Analysis of needs.
  • You are responsible for the interpretation of business analysis and convert part of it into functional analysis.
  • You describe the functional needs of the customer/partner in order to translate them into functional and technical analyses for the team of developers who will develop and parameterize the IT solution.
  • You describe processes and model data.
  • You work with the behavioural diagrams of UML (use cases, sequence diagram, activity diagram ...)
  • You organize and supervise workshops in order to best detect the needs.
2. Interface role
  • You participate in meetings with the Project Manager and ensure a good flow of information between the different parties (key users, development team, etc.).
  • You explain to the project team and the customer how to interpret the functional and technical analysis, based on a prototype developed by the development team, or a mock-up, if necessary.
  • You play an important role in supporting the users during the implementation of the application.
  • You provide all stakeholders with the necessary information on the "Why" and the "How".
  • He/she may participate in user training, write the user manual, etc.
  • You take the role of scrum master in some projects and ensure the correct agile approach.
