For one of our client in the automobile sector, we are looking for a Senior IT Solution Architect to strengthen an Agile teams and become a more digitally oriented player.

Your main activity is to develop and communicate a multi-dimensional solution architecture to deliver agreed business outcomes.

The position is open to both employees and freelancers.

The offices are located in Brussels, and the client offers the possibility to work from home part of the week.

Your role & responsability

You define the planned operation and maintenance of the solution within a production environment — include changes to services, process, organisation, and operating models as well as technology
You ensure that existing and planned solution components are compatible with relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices
You consider requirements for security, privacy and testing of solutions
You take account of relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices
You identify appropriate cloud services or platform that could fulfill partially or completely the desired solution
You develop roadmaps to migrate components to cloud services and/or platforms
You develop and communicating an implementation roadmap
You provide guidance and risk-based governance to support solution implementation including managing requests for changes and deviations from specifications.

Your profile

Experience:
You have experience in software engineering and design architecture
You have practical experience with projects in relevant engineering domain
You have knowledge of cloud computing—Microsoft Azure
You have knowledge of .NET environments and Microsoft landscape
You have knowledge of typical enterprise integration patterns
You are familiar with principles of computer networks and IT security management
You have experience in business analysis techniques and processes

Education & soft-skills:
You must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or in an IT related discipline. Certifications are a plus.
You must be an analytical thinker.
You must be able to evaluate the likely effects of programs on the profitability of the businesses
You have skills in designing, reporting, and documenting implementations, and solutions.
You may know modelisation language such as "ArchiMate" (Nice to have)
You have a knowledge of industry best practices and experience with software systems.
You have an analytical, pragmatic and problem-solving abilities.
You can work alone and in group, and time consciousness
You are fluent in both spoken and written English.
