To strengthen our Rheumatology mission team focusing on preparing launches in our rheumatology indications, based in our headquarter in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking to fill the position of: Global Marketing Digital Lead PsA and AxSpA.

As the Global Digital Marketing Lead you will be accountable for building and delivering value offered through our solutions across the US, EU5, Japan and China, executing UCB’s Patient Value Strategy (PVS) for a portfolio within the Immmunology -Rheumatology market
you will contribute by:
1 - Contributing to the Brand Strategy
- Define the market from a patient and physician perspective, segmenting it based on needs, identifying priority segments and validating new drivers of growth to shape brand strategy and objectives.
- Lead the generation of insight-driven innovative thinking and ensure focus on those most likely to achieve our brand ambition;
- Working cross functionally in brand team and workstreams to develop the brand strategy in PsA and axSpA
- Champion the brand: Deeply engaging people behind the brand value and to deliver brilliant patient experiences, champion the brand to ensure that it is clear, compelling and inspires creativity from everyone who works on and experiences the brand, ensuring work streams, missions and regions deliver against the brand ambition
2 - Leading to execution of the strategy in digital channels
- Understanding the patient experience and maximizing the use of advanced analytics to deeply understand each breakpoint along the journey in all channels and mostly in digital channels
- Building holistic digital ecosystem understanding via exploration and analysis of broad information sources (about patients, market, competitors, HCPs, Payers & key external experts)
- Using patient and customer segmentation to inform strategic choices across the patient journey
- Developing digital strategies based on a detailed understanding of the patient journey and the opportunities to improve the experience at key points along the journey
3 - Implementation/Execution
- Executing brand strategy by engaging with all regions / countries in a digital driven environment
- Managing agency partners to drive execution stories through content that engages across the patient experience
- Be connected: actively promote cross- functional discussion, communication and alignment around patients’ needs and interests; seek, build and nurture external networks in which can gain, share and use deeper customer understanding.
- Understanding Brand Performance, trends and competition: Analysing the effectiveness of patient experience plans versus objectives and agreed KPIs / Driving a virtuous circle of learning between teams and geographies
- Adapt and iterate in real time to optimize plans; Scenario planning and predicting future patient needs and opportunities
- Monitoring and reviewing competitor activities.
- Setting metrics as part of strategic and tactical planning; ensure a balance of qualitative and quantitative measures relevant to business objectives are used; challenge to ensure the data we collect is of good, consistent quality.
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree/MBA strongly preferred
- Additional education / certification in Digital, Analytics, AI, Ux
- Proven successful track record working within a pharmaceutical or a Biotechnology company within a Digital and/or Marketing role
- Has a good understanding of how advanced analytics work and what opportunities could generate for better understanding of the business environment and specifically the patient journey breakpoints, market trends, competition and performance.
- Demonstrate a positive, can – do attitude and result driven attitude / Being agile enough to adapt and iterate in real time to optimize plans, through the ability to work and collaborate effectively in a complex, matrixed commercial environment in partnership with other internal/external commercial stakeholders
- Demonstrate ability to work in a digital driven environment;Experience with digital marketing, qualitative and quantitative market research, recognizes the most efficient channels to focus, while having a strong understanding of principles of good scientific and commercial communication and clear messaging to enable ease of understanding by target audiences
- Excellent communication skills with individuals with different cultural, senior management, professional and academic backgrounds, including the ability to synthesize and simplify complex issues
- Strategic thinking, strong project management, problem-solving ability, customer focus, and a recognized commitment to quality
Preferred
- Therapeutic area experience in Immunology, Rheumatology
- Experience with KOL development within a specialty framework desired
- Good understanding of physician and patient challenges in digital ecosystem
