Job Description


As SGS’s Global LNG operations manager, you will report to SGS’s Global LNG/LPG/Chemical gases manager to effectively manage the delivery of our LNG operations through the SGS network.

More specifically you will

  • Be the key link between the SGS Affiliates, clients and the global Gas Team that you will integrate
  • Actively participate in securing Business continuity, thus ensuring client expectations are met, contractual obligations fulfilled, etc.
  • Ensure consistency and continuous improvement of SGS’s LNG inspection services technical performance
  • Ensure effective LNG operations growth and assist local affiliates with LNG inspection related issues
  • Present regular progress reports on the performance of the affiliates
  • Create and deliver a comprehensive overview of SGS LNG operations
  • Support and encourage SGS affiliates in the implementation of consistently high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental Management in line with the Company’s policies and procedures
  • Effectively manage and reinforce the accountability of your team
  • Provide supporting documentation for the LNG business development team
  • Ensure technical compliance across all SGS LNG operations
  • Create and update (where required) the SOP’s

Qualifications


We would expect you candidate to have:

  • Extensive LNG field experience.
  • Experience with managing a team
  • Outstanding change management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience with cross functional teams in resolving complex issues that improve customer satisfaction levels
