Job DescriptionAs a Group Sustainability Finance Lead, you support Group sustainability initiatives in line with the Sustainability Vision. In close collaboration with the Group Finance team, you ensure compliance with overall sustainability reporting’s, procedures, and internal control. You are responsible to provide the business with financial advice and corporate financial reporting that assists the deployment of financial resources in the most effective way to achieve the objectives of the Company set in its C02 roadmap.You provide leadership and coordination in implementing SBTi’s standards within the Group. Acting as the C02 offset market lead, you seek and develop C02 offset opportunities to support long term Company’s ambition in developing a new revenue stream.Your Responsibilities- You support the Sustainability actions program for the Group
- You lead the offset market: market study, project identification for eligibility, lead for program emission and marketing
- You are responsible for Sustainability reporting in compliance with the CSRD directive
- You have intelligence for worldwide ESG regulations
- You have PMO responsibilities
- Sustainability reporting and compliance
- You are in charge of implementing SBTi standards within the Group
- You are in charge of implementing the CSRD reporting of the Group
- You lead and direct sustainability reporting processes
- You are in charge of preparing quarterly and annual external reporting once applicable (ESG-linked loans and Annual consolidated accounts as well as Ecovadis) and liaise with external stakeholders (banks, investors, rating agencies and auditors)
- You are in charge of preparing internal reporting (frequency TBD) for informing governance bodies (Group ComEx, Audit Committee and Board of Directors) on Sustainability KPI’s evolution
- You closely monitor the evolution of ESG regulations worldwide and informs the management on a timely manner about the impacts for Carmeuse
- PMO for CO2 projects
- You are in support of the Group Finance team, coordinates all financial aspects (business case, search for subsidy and tax incentive, project financing opportunities) to support the decision process
- You ensure that the financial models related to CO2 projects, project studies and their analyses are accurate and reliable
- CO2 offset market lead
- You prepare Offsets market studies and project identification for eligibility
- You prepare offsets program emission and customers’ approach
- Sustainability vision
- You assist the Group Sustainability Team/Steer Co promoting and coordinating Corporate initiatives to achieve the Sust Vision 2030 (KPIs collection, target setting, internal communication, buy-in, …)
- You support lobbying activities on Taxonomy “demonstration” and Due-Diligence Directive
- You support Corporate external communication on Sustainability
- University degree or equivalent – engineering, legal, economics
- Experience in auditing process
- Experience with industrial business environment
- Advanced skills in financial and business analysis
- Fluent in English, both written and oral, other European languages are a plus
- Complete understanding of EU regulation systems including internal control standards and practices
- Experience in sustainability management
- Understanding of best practices in financial reporting
- Good computer skills in standard business programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- An excellent understanding of data base and reporting systems like Power-Bi or equivalent
- Business curiosity
- Influencing and good communication: Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with all levels of management, both inside the company and externally, including shareholders
