At ZF Wind Power, we are a global leader in technology-driven manufacturing of on- and offshore wind turbine gearboxes and powertrains and a global service partner. We lead the high-performance onshore market segments with our SHIFT compact modular platform designs. We delivered the world’s first offshore 9.5 MW wind turbine gearbox and, in close cooperation with our partner, delivered the first next generation 15MW offshore powertrain.

We have the world’s largest installed capacity of +8 MW offshore wind turbine gearboxes. Since entering the wind industry in 1979, we have delivered more than 85,000 gearboxes, powering over 200 GW wind turbines, covering more than 25% of the total installed capacity of geared-driven wind turbines worldwide. Together with our partners, we continuously invest in the wind market to empower a sustainable future together.

We are looking for a new colleague in our finance department at our headquarters in Lommel, Belgium.

The business unit ZF Wind Power is operating in a competitive market environment. The Head of Controlling supports the management as a business partner on the achievement of its financial targets in this environment. By doing this, the department business control provides transparency and analysis on actual financial results and on financial objectives. Business control gives advice as well and makes proposals from a financial point of view on how to achieve the targets of the business unit.

What you can look forward to as Head of Controlling:

• Responsible for all controlling activities of the business unit Wind Power covering four international production locations
• Coaching a team of 8 business unit and plant controllers in Belgium, China, Germany and India to grow as team and individual
• Based upon thorough and clear analyses you support management and colleagues in opportunities and challenges
• End responsibility of the long- and short-term forecast updates and analyses of business performance in terms of all relevant business KPI’s
• Support on strategic planning including financial analyses of large investment projects
• Set up monthly performance reviews, setting up targets and follow up of target achievement
• Point of contact towards the Division within ZF Group Germany
• In this role you report to the CFO

Your profile as Head of Controlling:

• Master’s degree in an economic or financial direction with a solid background in controlling and finance
• Senior controller experience in a managerial role within a global production environment
• Previously responsible for a team
• Analytic strength, motivational leadership, intercultural experienced
• Technical knowledge of SAP and MS Office as well as experience with digital reporting and dashboarding tools, preferably Power BI
• Hands-on attitude with a strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to create a pleasant and productive working atmosphere
• Direct and clear communication style in Dutch & English, good knowledge of German is a plus
