Head of Global Vaccines QC Systems

In this role you will…
  • Lead the GSK Vaccines Global QC system team (8 direct reports)
  • Set global vaccines QC Systems Vision and strategy. (i.e. SAP, LES, analytical software) in order to modernization and enhancing DDA approach for GSK Vaccines QC network
  • Define system / process design and deploy process throughout GSK vaccines QC network ensuring harmonization & standardization including when appropriate with GSK.
  • Lead the Monitoring, performance (incl. trend analysis) and effectiveness of QC systems. (This includes escalating risks related to QC systems). Take responsibility for the QC data analytic reflection by making adequate use of data generated in the QC systems.
  • Managing the Change Request process and priorities allocation. (This will include evaluation and creating business cases to ensure profitability, alignment to GIO/Q strategy, cross site and BU coordination and integration from E-to-E process perspective.)
  • Drive and implement continuous improvement solutions and support to QC network in resolving complex issues. Define and lead transversal improvement programs.
  • Lead and Consolidate technical expertise and support improvement of QC systems to ensure adequate quality and harmonization of QC data acquisition as well adequate risk mitigation across GSK vaccines sites
  • Lead the development and maintenance of global process documents and training packs for QC systems. In addition to this, develop, motivate, and coach QC systems experts in the network.
  • Ensure consistent and harmonized Master Data structure in QC systems across the sites and ensure alignment with Data Integrity requirements and other Regulatory requirements for QC systems in the network.
  • Act as internally and externally recognized expert on regulation, guidance and industry standards and be the reference for interactions with regulatory bodies. Assure External advocacy and intelligence on QC systems by monitoring and assessing new developments, industry trends, evolving regulatory expectations.
Why you?

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. (Significant experience in a technical field related to Quality control or Qc systems)
  • Lab Analytical Technique experience. Understanding of laboratory activities, GMP Rules, Quality Systems as well as other Quality IT applications. LES/LIMS experience.
  • Strong technical writing skills and SOP/process writing experience. Knowledge of IT system validation.
  • Able to network internally (GMS included) and externally, and to communicate with a wide range of partners across all organizational levels, often across multiple countries.
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
  • Knowledge in Analytical method, analytical system and validation is a plus.
