Description

Key Responsibilities:

Be the right hand of the Head of control
Represent the head in his/her absence
Help in managing the team
Support the development, delivery, and implementationof an organization’s strategy for managing and mitigating regulatory and compliance risk.
Take ownership, as needed, in developing policies and controls to address relevant regulatory requirements.
Serve as a center of expertise, sharing knowledge of requirements and compliancerisk and, when appropriate, providing relevant training to management and staff.
Monitor the company’s adherenceto policies to ensure compliance with Belgian, and EU regulations, providing assurance in the process.
Conduct compliance reviews to evaluate the appropriate implementation of company policies and effective management of compliance risk.
Collaborate with colleagues in Europe branch offices to ensure compliance in those offices.
Handle day-to-day inquiries related to compliance.
Monitor and analyze current regulatory requirements, applying them appropriately to the business.
Foster a strong compliance culture throughout the organization by creating compliance communications and updates.

Profiles

The ideal candidate will have:

At least 3 years of experience in Audit/Risk
Demonstrating effective influencing and negotiation skills within the industry and professional context.
Utilizing analytical skills to analyze and resolve complex business and regulatory issues.
Leading projects and initiatives with competence and confidence.
Thriving in a multicultural environment and working effectively with diverse teams.
Taking a proactive approach in addressing challenges and seizing opportunities.
Being fluent in French & English is mandatory, Dutch would be a strong asset!
