Role

The Head of IT Product Management (Product Owner) is a driven business leader, who keeps a laser-sharp focus on the customer and sets priorities for the multi-disciplinary IT Product Management team to deliver on its strategic objectives: scaling up the growth of IT Services via attractive and innovative product propositions, simple and frictionless customer journeys and seamless co-operation across teams. Head of IT Product management ensures that the team knows how they can make a difference, manages stakeholder dependences, and helps the team to solve impediments.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • End-responsible of SOHO IT Services customer value proposition and roadmap including portfolio positioning, product definition, customer journeys and pricing
  • Driving business development of the portfolio, ensuring achievement of defined goals by negotiating for the needed resources and by exploring alternatives
  • End-to-end business owner within Telenet on SOHO IT Services ensuring that everything is structurally in place internally and externally to scale-up: forecast, budget, supplier management, commissioning, sales and support training, operations, support, service level agreement, legal etc.
  • Ambassador of IT services: inspiring & engaging company-wide stakeholders on IT Services portfolio
  • Searching for and managing key partners that help to achieve the IT services growth ambitions
  • Maintaining and monitoring performance and quality of the fulfillment of the IT services in order to ensure the promise is met
  • Leading new product introductions in line with the defined strategy: identifying customer needs in the IT Services space & developing the customer value propositions
  • Validating new initiatives via market studies and customer insights, detecting market trends, and mapping the competitive landscape
  • Managing stakeholder dependences and driving collaboration across teams
Expertise & Skills
  • Senior business marketeer experienced in Customer value proposition, Product development, end to end business case creation
  • Strong affinity with IT services market: understanding how the market works and evolves, understanding customer needs and journeys
  • Strong stakeholder & communication skills towards multiple disciplines in the organization
  • Management skills, experience in managing processes, projects and employees
  • Bridging strategic and conceptual skills with structured priority setting towards execution
  • Ability to step in when required, be hands-on and quickly improve and adapt where needed
  • Able to navigate an environment with strong complexity and pressure
  • Open mind and curiosity to explore innovative solutions
  • Agile mindset, making decisions in a complex agile environment
  • Experience working with strategic suppliers and how to work out an effective relationship for both parties
  • 7-10 years of experience in key elements required for this role
  • Experience in Product Line Manager / Product Director / Product Owner is a plus
  • Master’s degree by preference
